Hi.

In fact, it has been almost 5 whole years since the last Micro Platformer content update. Needless to say, explaining why you haven't heard anything from me for this long would be a whole story on it's own - most of which wouldn't even be about the game. So, I'll save that for a different place & time, and now - allow me to focus right on the main topic:

I am back. For real-real. And not just to say that the update is coming soon™ - you can play a v0.7 mini-beta right now. We've been testing the new engine with a bunch of new things from the update right over on the discord server, and will soon (a few days, maybe 1 week) release the full v0.7 beta containing the entire built-in Level Editor, along with many of the other v0.7 game additions. You can follow the progress on the discord server, where I'm posting patchnotes for the near-daily beta updates, regularly adding content as I finish it. Once the full beta is polished, I'll need a bit more time to finish the full content update (7 or so full maps, with a bunch of side content as well!)

I'll keep you updated on the progress very regularly (on discord. Steam isn't great for updates like that - I'll only make an announcement when the full beta is out), and in the meantime, go ahead and give the (very tiny part of) new Micro Platformer a try!
