- Game Balance:
Tentacle:
Changed Tentacle's passive ability. Now, it activates protection upon receiving damage instead of at the end of the turn. If Tentacle survives after taking damage, it gains 1 point of defense.
Standard armor value reduced by 1 point (now 0, previously 1).
Two-Handed Sword Warrior:
Starting health increased by 1 point (now 2, previously 1).
Passive ability now triggers upon clearing a room instead of killing an enemy.
Sword and Shield Warrior:
Starting health increased by 1 point (now 3, previously 2).
Passive ability now triggers upon clearing a room instead of killing an enemy.
- General changes:
Overall balance slightly adjusted for an easier start. Initial levels are now more forgiving while still providing a challenge.
Tougher enemies now appear less frequently on early floors.
Enemies are now version-bound for faster game startup after the initial launch.
Mouse cursor now hides.
Enemies on the main screen jump when buttons are pressed.
- Bug Fixes:
Fixed a crash when triggering a skill on an already dead creature.
- Quality of Life Update:
Added a popup hint when player action points are depleted.
Added an additional window describing enemy abilities.
Now, when hovering over an item, you can see its changes (increase/decrease) if the item has been picked up before. Otherwise, a "?" sign will be shown.
Added tutorials, displayed upon the first game launch, and accessible again in the main menu.
The game now remembers and saves selected resolution, windowed mode, and preferred language.
When the selector is activated, player stats are now immediately shown.
