General Updates

New LIMITED Game Mode: A brand new objective-based mode, Priority Target, will be available for a limited time from 1/27 - 2/10. Here’s your mission orders:

  • Teams fight over a new objective to capture. Here’s the catch; if you fly through the objective you become the target.

  • Accumulate points for your team by staying alive as long as you can as the priority target up to a maximum of 25 seconds.

  • When you have the objective, there’s nowhere you can hide. Everyone on the map can see you, even through walls.

  • Whenever a target is defeated, the objective is dropped. It can be collected at their last location for a short time before it is reset to the center of the map.

This initial rollout is serving as a test so we can gather any critical feedback before fully committing it to the main rotation. So whether you hate it or love it, make sure you let us know!

Quality Improvements

Lower-Quality Maps: We’ve extended efforts of support to make it so devices playing on low/very low don’t load as many assets, leading to a smoother gameplay experience.

New Audio Settings: Active + Passive abilities now have their own audio sliders available in settings.

Unity 6.3 Upgrade: As we’ve done previously, we’re making sure Metalstorm stays up to date with the latest versions out there for tools and performance benefits.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the Gripen’s ability plane projection.

  • Fixed an issue with scrolling in the Mastery track unlocks.
