Hello, this is Link Compass.

It's been a while since our last Metal Suits map editor update — and we're excited to share what's new!

Loading & processing, now smoother than ever

We know the little hiccups you'd sometimes feel while saving or loading in the map editor. In this update, we've reworked the loading and processing pipeline to minimize stuttering and boost overall responsiveness. Even when working on larger maps, things should now feel a lot more fluid.

Custom fields, made easier to use

Setting up custom fields has always been one of the more hands-on parts of map making. We've improved the usability here, smoothing out the friction points you ran into while entering and checking values. Once you try it yourself, you'll notice the difference right away.

A brand-new dialogue feature

You can now add dialogue and message boxes at just the right moments in your map. This opens up more freedom to bring your own stories and storytelling into your maps.

Custom map feature update complete

The custom map feature within Metal Suits has been successfully updated. After all your patience, you can now build your own maps and enjoy playing through them yourselves.

Step by step, we're working to make your playtime even more enjoyable. Link Compass will keep pushing forward, every single day.

We'll keep refining the map editor going forward — thank you for your continued interest and support !
