How do you imagine a typical workday for the Solar Pixel team?

Write your thoughts in the comments — don’t be shy, and feel free to joke around 😄 Meanwhile, let me quickly tell you how things actually happen.

At 7:30 AM, our developers, artists, and designers are already standing in line at the security checkpoint. In their hands — ID badges, hot chocolate, and notebooks filled with work notes. Security carefully checks everyone for prohibited items...

Sounds like the beginning of a very serious story, right?

Of course, that’s not us at all 😄

Reality is a little less cinematic, but much more relatable… or maybe the opposite, hmm…🤔 Anyway!

At 9:57 AM, the alarm goes off. One hand reaches out to hit “snooze for one more minute,” while the other is already turning on the computer. And while the system boots up, a rapid transformation happens — from “please pry my eyelids open...” to “I’m ready to work!”

And then — 10:00 AM. The whole team is already in Discord: developers, artists, designers. We quickly discuss what’s been done and what comes next. Someone is sharing their screen, work Telegram is flooding with notifications… the city hums outside the window, the kettle whistles in the kitchen… Work has begun.

And this happens 5 days a week. Or 6. Or 7...

I think this week I worked 8 days... unless I’m mistaken...🤔

But you know what matters most here? We genuinely love what we do.

It’s hard to explain until you experience it yourself: you’re literally creating something with your own hands — and every day it becomes bigger, more beautiful, deeper, more atmospheric, more alive. The project grows, fills with details, develops character... And at some point, you catch yourself thinking — you can’t stop anymore. You’ve fallen in love with the process.

And this time, no jokes — that’s absolutely true.

But a game doesn’t become a real game if only the developers enjoy it. The most valuable reward for us is your feedback.

And to get it... we’re launching a new playtest very soon 👀

Yep, you can start joking now — we smile every time we say it too 😄 But the playtest is definitely happening. And very soon.

This time we’ll be showing: — updated extraction mechanics — crafting system — redesigned interface — and many other details that are much better to experience yourself than to read about a hundred times

We’re truly looking forward to this moment — because you are the ones who help us make the game better.

The playtest launch is planned for the first half of 2028...

Alright, another joke 😄 It’s coming much sooner — and we’ll definitely share all the details in advance.

We’ll be happy to see every one of you there. For us, this is not just a test — it’s an important step in the project’s development.

Stay tuned ❤️

And yes, one little fact before we finish: while you were reading this post — the developers already found and fixed at least one bug, an artist came up with and drew a new weapon and outfit skin, the level designer prepared another surprise for the most observant players, and the Steam wishlist gained dozens of new players.

The work never stops for even a minute.

Have a great day, everyone!
