From 1925 to 2025, a century reflected in these crimson walls. Happy Birthday to the Palace Museum! Inspired by this legacy, we've developed a game packed with feline charm—"Meow Palace"! We're excited to confirm that "Meow Palace" will be part of the Steam Next Fest. Come and try our demo!

Step into the role of a clever stray, paws padding into the grand and mysterious Forbidden City. With palace cats as your guides, you’ll pick up skills, gather treasures, complete quests, and uncover the secrets hidden in its halls.

Update Details:

  1. Added the character customization system. You can now design your own character's appearance.

  2. Introduced the weather system, currently featuring rain as the first available weather effect.

  3. Added the seasonal system, with the default season set to autumn.

  4. Implemented the day–night cycle, where scene lighting and UI brightness now change in real time, reflecting sunrise and sunset.

  5. Introduced the time system. The sundial can now be used to check the in-game time.

  6. Reworked the event trigger mechanism and adjusted the drop rules and probabilities for some collectible items.

  7. Added new in-game events.

  8. Redesigned the crafting UI for a smoother experience.

  9. Optimized font rendering for improved readability.

  10. Added multilingual support, now available in 4 languagesSimplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and English.

  11. Introduced the gift-giving system.

  12. Added a system settings module with background music options.
