Memory of Memorie : A Chill Story changes
This time, we'd like to share part of the character notes we put together during development, along with some design artwork.
Not everything is explained in the game itself, but these are notes we compiled during development to help capture her character — her personality, favorite things, and how she spends her days.
Some of the details get fairly granular, but we hope it gives you a chance to get to know Memorie a little better.

| Character Description | A young girl on the cusp of adulthood, working hard every day toward her dream of becoming a full-fledged mage.She is kind to everyone, earnest in her magical studies, and her genuine, gentle nature wins her wide affection. She can occasionally say something a little off the mark in her own airheaded way, but even that endears her to others.Unless absolutely necessary, she rarely ventures far from the village where she grew up. Her magical research keeps her mostly indoors — reading academic texts and running experiments — but she also loves going outside to relax in nature.She has a deep love of cooking, both making food herself and enjoying delicious things to eat. Even in the middle of research, her mind sometimes drifts to food. When traveling merchants sell unusual seasonings or spices, she simply cannot resist buying them. |
Memorie's Design Materials — Revealed!
These are the character sheets prepared for 3D modeling after the character design was finalized. They were drawn to show details like arm thickness for the modeling process. Particular care was also taken with the shape of the frills in her outfit.
And while you rarely get to see it in the game, her hood has what appear to be cat(?) ears on the back.
Memorie's Costume — Final Candidates
These are the costume designs that were considered as final candidates for Memorie. We made our selection while prioritizing a look that felt true to an apprentice mage, suited to her age and personality,
with a calm, laid-back feel that fits the overall atmosphere of the app.
Memorie's Wand
These are the design materials for Memorie's magical wand. Of course, we wanted it to suit Memorie's personality and the world of the game — but we also aimed for a design that would bring a small moment of joy, whether held in hand or resting on a desk. There are also other wand designs in the full version, so please look forward to seeing them.
Some of these character details are subtly woven into Memorie's words and expressions throughout the game.
Alongside the design artwork, we hope you enjoy getting a feel for who Memorie is as a character.
