MEMORIAPOLIS changes
Since the release of Banners & Wonders, we've received quite a few requests from players looking for more freedom and flexibility in their games.
So here's what is coming to Memoriapolis before the end of June!
Custom Mode
With the new Custom Mode, you'll be able to customize your game before it even begins.
Enable or disable Age Objectives and Incidents
Starting resources
Faction balance
Food consumption
Cultural Character effects
And much more...
This first step toward greater freedom will allow you to adjust a variety of settings and create the experience that suits you best.
A New Map to Explore
To give you even more freedom, we're also working on a new map that combines elements of both the Classic Map and the Arid Map.
The goal is to offer a landscape with very few constraints, allowing you to build and experiment however you like. We can't wait to see what you'll create!
Three New Wonders
The story of your city will also be able to take new directions thanks to three new Wonders:
Crystal Palace, the famous cast-iron and glass exhibition hall built in London for the Great Exhibition of 1851
Saint Basil's Cathedral, a masterpiece of Moscow architecture built between 1555 and 1561
The Forbidden City, constructed between 1406 and 1420 under the orders of Yongle, the third emperor of the Ming dynasty
As with the other major constructions in Memoriapolis, these Wonders will need to be unlocked during your progression.
This means you'll now have two Wonders to choose from at each stage:
Eiffel Tower or Crystal Palace
Neuschwanstein Castle or Saint Basil's Cathedral
Statue of Liberty or Forbidden City
Each Wonder comes with its own path, featuring new objectives across the ages, as well as new research and challenges to complete.
We hope these new possibilities will offer even more replayability and freedom to tell the story of your city.
See you at the end of June to lay the foundations of your new Wonders!
