Slice That Melon: Character Art & Design

Greetings Melon Journey fans! We're happy to introduce our first segment of "Slice that Melon" where we ask the developers to give an indepth deep dive into different aspects of Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories.

Our first transmission from Planet Froach club comes from Minipete AKA Karolina our lead developer, on the before and after design for Honeydew!

"Hi guys, this is Minipete from froach club, director and artist of Melon Journey Bittersweet Memories! here's an analysis of Honeydews old and new outfits.

You might remember her from the 2012 RPGMaker game for having an inconic melon-rind coloured dress, sleeveless; with an accompanying bunny ear headband and cutely shaped melon bag."

"For Melon Journey Bittersweet Memories we wanted to go for something a little different. Honeydew has chosen to wear a 60's mod-inspired dress with her work nametag clipped to her chest. Her bunny ears are actually part of required wear at Eglatine Industries, which you'll see tons of other characters wearing whilst they work too!"

"Since she forgot her melon bag at home however, Honeydew is forced to store all of the items she picks up in her pockets, which get quite heavy at times."
