About Snugsy's Artwork Update

We’ve recently come across some feedback regarding Dr. Snugsy’s character art, with a player suggesting it may have been AI-generated.

changedWe want to clarify that this artwork was fully drawn by us during the early stages of development for Mellow’s Pillowland . However, we do understand where some of these concerns are coming from.
changedOne detail we’d like to clarify is the flower on the pocket. This was an intentional design choice . It’s meant to resemble a decorative pin attached to the pocket, which is why part of it appears outside. This will remain unchanged in the updated version.
changedYou might wonder why this wasn’t updated before release. Dr. Snugsy is planned to appear as a fully realized 3D character in a future update, and the original illustration was kept as part of her early concept identity.
changedThat said, we’ve decided to introduce the improved version ahead of that.

We want to clarify that this artwork was fully drawn by us during the early stages of development for Mellow’s Pillowland. However, we do understand where some of these concerns are coming from.

In particular, the hand pose holding the clipboard could have been executed better, and we appreciate that being pointed out. Based on this feedback, we’ve taken the time to redraw and improve Dr. Snugsy’s artwork with more refined proportions and details.
