Meg's Monster changes
There's more to humans and monsters than meets the eye.
To cap off the year, independent developer Odencat announced that its DLC expansion to 2023’s critically acclaimed Meg’s Monster will be available on Steam December 4. Entitled Lost Memories, the campaign delves into the lives of multiple characters in a prequel tale which will expand the world of Meg’s Monster.
About the DLC
Meg's Monster: Lost Memories is a collection of short prequel adventures that expands upon the world and lore of Meg's Monster by letting players experience the heartwrenching backstories of five wholly unique characters:
An MMA fighter who steps into the ring to earn money for his ailing brother's medical treatment.
A young girl whose bickering parents seem eerily on edge about her upcoming fifth birthday.
An unknown creature tasked with killing their target.
A man reborn into a monster after death, devoting his new life to improving the Underworld.
A monster child, raised in a laboratory and subjected to extensive experimentation.
Five lives. Five stories, heretofore untold.
Yet all beg the same underlying questions:
What makes us human, and could a monster be just like us?
What if humans were more monstrous than the monsters themselves?
(Estimated Play Time: Around 2 hours)
