Mega Roids changes
Stage 3 Preview
Stage 3 is the next big step for Mega Roids, and I wanted to share a quick look at what’s coming. We’re currently targeting June 14 for this update. The goal is to make the later run feel bigger, more intense, and more memorable from start to finish. What’s coming in Stage 3:
A larger progression flow that pushes the run beyond the core asteroid combat
A new canyon-style combat sequence that changes the pace and pressure
A dedicated Mega Roids boss encounter with new attack patterns and a more dramatic finale
Smoother transitions between major gameplay sections so the whole run feels more connected
HUD and combat readability improvements to make the action clearer in the middle of the chaos
A lot of the recent work has been about making the game feel like it keeps escalating. I want Stage 3 to feel like a real payoff — not just more enemies, but a stronger sense that the run is building toward something. This is still active work in progress, but it’s coming together fast, and I’m excited to show more soon. Current target: June 14
