  • Compatibility

  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
  • Balance
changedAdded Controller Support:It is now fully possible to move your rabbits with nothing but your PlayStation or Xbox controllers. In addition, rebinding of controls for both keyboard and gamepad controls is now supported. Full Steam Input support isn't completely implemented yet, but it will likely finalized be down the road. This bodes well for the planned SteamDeck/Linux support too.
addedNew Stages:Try out the 3 new boxing stages, each with their own stage gimmicks. But that's not all, there's also 5 new glider stages of varying difficulty. Things are shaping up to be even bunny-er than ever before.
changedMinor Fixes:A few small bug fixes and tweaks, likely unnoticeable to all but the keenest bunny eye. Namely, a few texturing issues and gliding physics jank has been adjusted.
addedBad News....This update wasn't quite what we here at FortressSoft wanted it to be. I'm sorry to say that the new bunny game mode isn't ready. Our lone bunny developer at FortressSoft got a bit tied up with something he calls "an actual paying job". Sounds like a cheap excuse to me, but this does mean that updates will likely be a bit slower in the future (as if they weren't slow enough already).
addedBad News....So while I can't offer you a new game mode right now, what I can offer you instead is information about it. That's just as good, right? No? Well here it is.
addedNext Patch: Planned Late JuneThe next patch will contain Bunny Bowling ! An all new mode where players try to knock down the most pins, all while knocking their rabbit rivals away. High Speed Rolling and Bouncing action! Rack up huge combos by hitting consecutive pins and grabbing some wacky items.

So let's get to the meat and potatoes of this announcement, there is an update to go over after all.

We'll start with the positives...

PATCH NOTES!

Added Controller Support:

It is now fully possible to move your rabbits with nothing but your PlayStation or Xbox controllers. In addition, rebinding of controls for both keyboard and gamepad controls is now supported. Full Steam Input support isn't completely implemented yet, but it will likely finalized be down the road. This bodes well for the planned SteamDeck/Linux support too.

New Stages:

Try out the 3 new boxing stages, each with their own stage gimmicks. But that's not all, there's also 5 new glider stages of varying difficulty. Things are shaping up to be even bunny-er than ever before.

Minor Fixes:

A few small bug fixes and tweaks, likely unnoticeable to all but the keenest bunny eye. Namely, a few texturing issues and gliding physics jank has been adjusted.

Bad News....

This update wasn't quite what we here at FortressSoft wanted it to be.

So while I can't offer you a new game mode right now, what I can offer you instead is information about it. That's just as good, right? No? Well here it is.

Next Patch: Planned Late June

The next patch will contain Bunny Bowling! An all new mode where players try to knock down the most pins, all while knocking their rabbit rivals away. High Speed Rolling and Bouncing action! Rack up huge combos by hitting consecutive pins and grabbing some wacky items.

We'll also have new ways to play in the existing game modes! An Endless Mode for Glide Mode, and a Supercharged Option for boxing.

What, a few taglines aren't enough for you. I'm nothing if not a man of the people, folks. So in light of these delays, I'm prepared to offer you all:

A Permanent Discount!

That's right, Mega Bunny Blast 3D will now be just a bit over $1 from now on. So keep your eyes peeled for the price change in the coming days.

Until then folks, Happy Hopping!
