Greetings blacksmiths,
We’re thrilled to announce that we’re finally wrapping up the stabilization of the latest update for Medieval Blacksmith that’s been live on the Test Branch. This means we’re just around the corner from pushing this version to the main branch—and with it, Medieval Blacksmith will officially complete its Early Access journey!
Before we move forward, there’s something very important we want to highlight to make sure your progress stays safe.
If you're playing a version older than 1.6.0, your save files will be deleted when the full version goes live on April 14, 2025. To avoid losing your progress, please switch to the branch named"old_version".
"To access the old version branch, right-click on Medieval Blacksmith in your Steam library and select Properties. In the window that opens, go to the Betas tab and select the appropriate beta branch to enable the old version."
If you're already on version 1.6.0, you’re all good!👍 Just stay on the Test Branch until the update officially launches on April 14th, and then you’ll be able to transition smoothly to the main branch without any issues.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your feedback, patience, and support have been invaluable in shaping the game into what it is today.
The forge is almost ready! 🔨🔥
