Update 10: New Game Mode!

Hi folks, We've added a new player generated challenge mode where you can create your own obstacle course and players can compete on global leaderboards for the best times.

Hi folks,

We've added a new player generated challenge mode where you can create your own obstacle course and players can compete on global leaderboards for the best times.

You can browse for top rated maps from the new game mode selector in the lobby or you can create your own maps using the map editor.

You have to place a spawn point and an endpoint and you have to complete the course once to be able to make the map public.

We've also renamed the quick match mode to Triple Trials to better distinguish what you do in that game mode.

We'll be adding mode map blocks / hazards to the editor so you can make more varied challenges.

Other changes:

  • Added a return to lobby option to the menu

  • Turn off no-clip movement when leaving map editor

  • Added tutorial text to map editor (which you can delete)

  • Moved edit menu closer in 2D mode

  • Changed UI interact to left mouse in mouse and keyboard mode so you can use the keyboard to type with

  • Challenge map overview now correctly shows map name and creator

  • You can cancel block selection with B or right mouse

  • Some other background networking changes
