Mecha Force changes
Since the release of the PC Demo for Mecha Force, we have received an overwhelming amount of recognition and support from players both Eastern and Western communities. This has been incredibly humbling and encouraging for our studio... Player support is always the driving force behind our work.
The initial concept for Mecha Force stemmed from our team's deep passion for the "Soul of Steel" genre and a sense of defiance towards the perceived decline in popularity of similar anime and game genres in recent years. When we first got the chance in 2021 to develop a game truly our own, a Super Robot-themed action game was the very first vision that flashed in our minds.
Looking back now, the desire to recreate those iconic Super Robot moves from anime with our own hands was probably the genesis of this project. That's why we resolutely chose a first-person perspective for this game. We wanted the experience to differ from the familiar mecha games we all know. We've often been spectators to the epic battles of Super Robots, but this time, we wanted players to sit in the cockpit and become the very mecha they once admired, using their own hands.
Like many game companies, we faced significant challenges during the development of our first title: shortages in funding and talent... the design and testing pressures of creating innovative content... lack of experience in operations and promotion... and even some skepticism towards the mecha genre itself. However, every round of testing, every word of encouragement and feedback from players, helped us persevere step by step, ultimately bringing this game to you.
Due to the tight schedule, the current version still has many rough edges. Following these past few days of testing, we've worked tirelessly to release a major new update, addressing nearly all the issues we were able to gather from your feedback. We are immensely grateful for your valuable suggestions and your patience with the Mecha Force Demo.
After this update, we will continue to collect your feedback and accelerate the development of the full version of Mecha Force. We believe that the official release will meet you all in the not-too-distant future!
We hope that by then, every player will feel the indomitable spirit and burning passion of us old-school "Steel Spirit" devotees!
Sincerely,
MING STUDIO
