Language
It's been a long time since the last update. The main reason for this update is to add a lot of different languages to the game. With the upcoming Update #13 there will be 40 supported languages in the game:
Afrikaans
Arabic
Basque
Belarusian
Bulgarian
Catalan
Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Traditional)
Czech
Danish
Dutch
English
Estonian
Finnish
French
German
Greek
Hebrew
Hungarian
Icelandic
Indonesian
Italian
Japanese
Korean
Latvian
Lithuanian
Norwegian
Polish
Portuguese
Romanian
Russian
Serb-Croatian
Slovak
Slovenian
Spanish
Swedish
Thai
Turkish
Ukrainian
Vietnamese
However, as I used a translator and I am not capable to spell check all of these languages there will be most certainly errors. So please report them with a screenshot and the correct translation, if you find one. I will correct that as quick as possible.
With the added languages there are also new fonts added to the game to support more characters for special player names for the leaderboard.
Moreover, hints will be resized more strictly to avoid reaching the end of the screen. This will increase the readability for all languages and screen sizes.
Also music titles will not be translated anymore. This means they will keep their original song name.
Music
Speaking of music, I added 8 new music tracks to the game:
Dandelion
Hope
Hopeful
Light
Mastered
New Day
Silent
Sunshine
There are now 25 different songs in the game you can choose from. To listen to the new songs you have to activate them on the "Options Cube" under "Audio" and "Music Tracks".
Ambient
I also added 9 new ambient tracks to the game:
Birds #2
Branches
Calm Wind
Cemetery
Desert
Jungle
Savannah
Sea Storm
Tundra
There are now 25 different ambient sounds in the game you can choose from. The same as for the music, to listen to the new ambient sounds you have to activate them on the "Options Cube" under "Audio" and "Ambient Tracks".
Medieval Village Background
Beside that, I also added a new interactable background to the game. With it there are now 25 different backgrounds you can choose from. It's called "Village" and represents a medieval village. You can turn each torch individually on or off with the left mouse button or all at once with the right mouse button. Depending on your lighting and visual effect setting it can achieve different kind of atmospheres:
Lighting Moods
Moreover, I added two new lighting moods to the game, which means that there are now also 25 different lighting moods in the game. The first one "Blue Sky" exposes every scene with a bright light and a god-ray effect.
The second one "Darkness" does the complete opposite. There are no lights anymore. Use this if you don't like to be distracted or if only the scenery itself should illuminate the scene. Further, "Darkness" lets you embrace the visual effects even more. However, as it makes it very hard to see the matrix blocks and solve any matrix, I recommend to use the self-illuminating "Neon" blocks with it.
Visual Effects
There are also two new visual effects, which brings them also, and you probably guessed it now, to 25 visual
