addedForewordHey all, and welcome to the Changelog for Season 66 of Alliance War ! This is the first season running the Stone / Water Tactic, which has the unique distinction of being the first Tactic we’ve run that had all six classes inside of it. For some savvy players, you may notice the pool we have are part of the Ascension groups. This is a departure from the norm, and we hope players enjoy the change in pace. There are some new developments for Alliance War coming soon that we will be sharing in the coming months, so stay tuned for it. Until then, let’s jump into the Tactic and its details! Defense Tactics With this new Tactic, we wanted to experiment with Inexorable as the core Defensive threat to see if spacing is a direction we want to explore with future Alliance War Tactics. Because of the amount of Classes we have to account for, we put this threat under a predictable trigger so that each Defender has a good chance at triggering this threat. The same will go for the Attack Tactic, which will be looking for a variety of triggers to ensure there is value in each of the Attacking Champions in the Saga Pool in countering the Defensive Tactic. The details of the Tactics are as follows… Defense: STONE STONE - 1:

Attack: WATER

  • If the Attacker is #Water, activating their Special Attack removes 1 Inexorable off of the Defender. Additionally, the following actions inflict an indefinite Splash Passive (max stacks: 3) on the Defender, which are not subject to Ability Accuracy:

    • Intercept the Defender

    • Power Drain, Burn, or Steal the Defender

    • Gain a Regeneration effect

    • Attempt to Purify or Cleanse a Debuff

    • Be Immune to either an Armor Break, Armor Shattered, or any Damaging Debuff

  • NOTE: A Splash Passive does the following to the Defender…

    • Reduces Defensive Combat Power Rate, and Ability Power Rate. Gaining Inexorable instantly removes the Inexorable and a Splash.
