Repeated intro
Hello everyone! I hope everyone read the last news in here, so you already know that the game is being reworked from scratch in Unreal Engine. I wanted to give some insights of work in progress, what is happening behind the scenes... Since many are lost in the game and tries to find out what to do, how everything works and etc. So this time you will be able to play through Tutorial level, which will help you to understand the game. Steam post imageThe game development progress is moving, this time we want to cover as much as possible with custom models in game, that shows the whole game style. UI was stylized in a different view than it was on Unity. No longer phone for map, chat, objectives. Instead you will have on primary screen for everything. Inventory is no longer set to keep 9 items, its reduced to max 3. Objectives also will be shown in same UI. Steam post imageNo more NVG system, switched to Flashlight, but not handheld. You will have a helmet integrated flashlight this time, with a requirement to charge it (it will not be recharging automatically) Each object interaction will tell you exactly what it does and what button is required to be usedSteam post imageOn the other hand, not talking about the Mechanics and tutorial level, we also are working on New level with new ideas and design. In overall, this will be a big overhaul, as everything is just being rebuilt from scratch, with many improvements, new ideas, expanding overall game logic, forgetting old approaches that was done and making new ones, better ones, more interesting, and of course, trying to dive in to the game story on why its happening, why this location and much more.
