What's this?? An update for Malfunction?!
Surprisingly, yes. While this update is quite small, it's one that I've had sitting around on my hard drive for a couple years but never got around to finishing it.
As the title suggests, this update is mostly to preserve Malfunction for the foreseeable future. There are several other things with the game I'd like to address but time is so scarce these days- I cannot guarantee anything.
Malfunction - V-1.6.5:
Additions:
Added volume sliders to the options menu
Fixes:
- CH2 LVL5Fixed the final room of the Broadcast Station from resetting when entering
- CH3 LVL3Fixed the level from resetting when exiting vents
- CH3 LVL5 & CH4 LVL5Fixed the Broadcast Station cores from still flashing when placing them
- CH5 LVL5Fixed the first few puzzles from soft-locking the game when exiting the area
Changes:
- CH3 LVL1Changed required areas to jump so that it's easier to navigate
Removed:
Removed Plague enemies from all of Dwenguil's levels
Removed deprecated journal notes unrelated to Malfunction's lore
Thank you all so much for playing Malfunction and while these days are simply too busy for me, at some point I hope to potentially visit the series again but until then, enjoy a hopefully somewhat more stable build of Malfunction!
