Malazard: The Master of Magic has just came out from Early Access. Based on players' feedback, we added some new features, and implemented various quality-of life improvements.

Release notes

  • Players can now bring their unlocked spells to the previous levels.

  • Endless survivor mode added.

  • Leaderboards added for every level and also for the endless mode.

  • Added Steam achievements.

  • Added an option to turn off the in-game music.

  • Added a clarification UI representing the spells relative strength.

  • New screen effect indicates if the player is on low health.

  • The intensity of the player hit effect is now based on the amount of damage received.

  • Toned down the colors so they are not as obstructive as before.

  • Fixed a bug where the bow spell would erroneously deal the wrong amount of damage.
