Sheep Herding Mechanic in Demo

The Demo now includes Sheep Herding! The sheep are lost in the dungeon, and it's up to Major Mutt to bring them home! Herding Mechanic Sheep now spawn across the map. They run away from dogs!

changedHerding MechanicSheep now spawn across the map. They run away from dogs! Herd them toward the designated Sheep Exit to rescue them. Each sheep has its own exit, separate from the player's exit, so you'll need to plan your routes carefully
changedHerding RewardsRescuing a sheep immediately boosts all your weapons stats for the rest of your run (fire rate, damage, and attack speed). The boosts stack! Rescue multiple sheep for compounding firepower. Sheep rescues also count toward your end-of-run gold coin meta currency
changedRisk vs. RewardDecide when to focus on enemies or continue herding. There is a fine balance: thinning out enemies gives you breathing room to herd, but every second spent fighting is a sheep edging closer to trouble. The sheep will naturally cluster together as they flee which can help or hinder your herding depending on the situation

  • The end-of-run screen now displays how many sheep you rescued alongside the meta-currency earned from the run
