Magitek VR changes
We’re excited to announce that our Magitek multiplayer is officially live, and we can’t wait for you to jump in and start battling!
This is still an early version, so expect some bugs along the way. We're actively working on improvements, so feel free to share your feedback, ideas, and any bugs you come across!
Nothing is set in stone just yet, so this is your chance to shape the final release with us. Let us know all the cool ideas you have for abilities, balancing, or anything else you’d love to see!
We’re looking forward to battling it out with you all very soon!
New Features / Improvements
New multiplayer mode, access it from the main menu
Two multiplayer modes; Stadium and Sandbox.
New multiplayer lobby scene where you can connect to multiplayer games
New headshots damage multiplier, do more damage when you hit an AI or human enemy in the head.
New reworked water elements, the class now specialists at long ranged attacks that do bonus damage when getting headshots
New frozen system for multiplayer, frozen players will move slower and have increased weight.
New skin system where you can customize your hood, body, add rings and attach items to head and back.
New mirror and skin selector UI. Found in the Multiplayer lobby and the home base in story mode
New arena season 3, the season 2 scoreboard can now be found in the courtyard.
New Spells
New air Spell - Air Disk - Throw this disk like a throwing star, it expands as it travels doing high damage.
New earth Spell - Ground Pound - While in the air punch towards the ground to fly towards the ground ending in an shockwave.
New water Spell - Water Lash - A spell that will cast a water rope to any part of the environment, you can swing on it or pull yourself towards the target. Great for mobility.
New water spell - Ice Lance - Cast by freezing a water ball, this sharp ice projectile does very high damage when hitting heads.
New water spell - Wave - A large wave of water that can hit multiple enemies, can be frozen to create a frozen wall for defence.
New water spell - Frost Walker - Cast and equip giving a speed boost while on land.
Spell Changes
Fire spray now consumes far less mana.
Fire blast is now three times larger, making it much easier to hit targets.
Fire arc can now be charged to a larger 3rd level.
Improved hit detection on air blast.
Reworked earth boulder and earth wall, casting will now tether the earth object to the player hand.
Improved earth telekinesis on all earth spells.
New cracked effects on earth wall when it have taken damage.
Water Ball can now be cast much more quickly and will tether to the hand.
Water whip can now be charged to become larger. It now has increased pushback and damage.
Liquid Tentacles are now casting by bring two fists together and charging, they are fare stronger now.
Miscellaneous Changes
Ice storm removed.
New popup message to show important information.
New “Show body” option to show the players body.
Improved abilities UI, spell instructions are now more clear and easier to read.
Popup menu is now larger and more readable.
Remove element passives.
Added dynamic resolution to improve performance.
Audio sliders to adjust volumes.
Many new sounds.
