Magic Research changes
A new version of Magic Research, v1.13.2, is now released on Steam! This new version finally adds 42 Steam Achievements. In addition, it also adds 2 new late-game Storylines, a few new random events, a"Cause of Death" feature in the exploration log, and more.
Loading up your game should automatically unlock all of the achievements you should have unlocked.
(If you are playing a NG+, you will need to make the progress again to unlock the achievements - sorry! But you can alternatively export your save, then load the save you had exported before going into NG+, and it should unlock your achievements)

New features and changes:
2 new late-game Storylines - Add "Chest" random events to most dungeons - Add new "It's raining!" random event - When losing in combat, the message in the Exploration Log now shows the cause of death - Add "Pause Exploration" feature while exploring, to give opportunity to prepare before a fight - Various performance improvements through the app - Add spells
"Time Contraction" and "Apprentice Serenity"
to Exploration spell view - Add hint on Retirement screen when it is best to keep making progress in Exploration first (i.e. multiplier is high for current progress) or when it is best to retire (i.e. multiplier is too low for current progress) - (Steam / Web only) Add hotkey to switch between quickbars - (Steam / Web only) Add hotkeys to switch screens for the most common screens - (Steam only) Add auto-backups when closing the game and every 15 minutes to AppData/Roaming/magic-research/backups - (Steam only) Add 42 Steam Achievements

Balance changes:
Rebalance formula of item
Searing Sword
to be somewhat more balanced in very high New Game + boon values - Rebalance item
Star Wand slightly (+100 -> +125 Mana/sec)
Re-rebalance upgrade
Massive Warehouses (no longer requires Reinforced Monstruariums; cost 59K -> 25K Monstium)
Random event in the Thunder Tower "Struck by Lightning" no longer happens while fighting a boss - In order to make crafting easier and less annoying, simplify recipe of item
Potion of Augmentation (instead of requiring 6 separate potions, require instead large amounts of Water, Monstium, and Fine Dust)
