Mad Devils: Damned-finitive Edition changes
Today we wanted to talk about our favourite skeleton: Asher. As the lead protagonist in Mad Devils, he's not only a cornerstone of all play, but is pivotal to its story.
Jack Asher, to give him his full title, is an American mill worker who joined the army after his military father’s death overseas. He rose in rank via battlefield promotions while deployed in Northern Africa and Italy where his unit became involved in operations working to stop Axis occult efforts. His family includes two younger brothers and his elderly mother. Asher originally resisted his father’s insistence that he follow his footsteps and enlist. He left home at an early age, only enlisting after his father’s death and his younger brother’s enlistment.
As you can see in our first Motion Comic, Asher's arrival into Mad Devils isn't without incident...
Where his kit is concerned, it's a varied mix of offensive and defensive capabilities. Here's a couple for you to take a look at.
This is just a sample of the abilities in the game, and as you might notice between Asher and Diana, they're somewhat opposites: Asher deals in fire and explosions, while Diana handles more defensive, ethereal effects. As a pairing, you'll have to mix and match multiple abilities in order to take on tougher and tougher foes.
While we'll be talking more about Diana in a future post (we're aiming for tomorrow!), it's important to remember that Mad Devils is very much a co-op experiencing, so ensuring there's synergy between you and your partner is key.
Oh, and here's an awesome render of Asher . Enjoy!
