M.O.O.D.S. changes
M.O.O.D.S. hasn’t received an update in a while.
The reason is simple
we’re a small studio, and we have to use our time very carefully. That said, it was important to us that M.O.O.D.S. runs smoothly and reliably for everyone who purchased the game - and that we listen closely to your feedback.
This update is the result
a major polish and bug-fix pass focused on stability, performance, and overall quality. The update also includes an engine upgrade with Unity security fixes .
Highlights
⚡ Noticeably Smoother
Around 40% performance improvement on average (CPU & GPU)
More stable frame times and fewer stutters, especially in intense situations
👹 Much More Stable Boss Fights
Major performance issues during boss fights (including Enigma / Mallory) resolved
Fewer FPS drops, less chaos, more control
🗺️ Reworked Areas
Pride, Sorrow, and Anger levels fully reworked visually and in level design (including new rooms)
Fewer glitches, more stable flows, cleaner transitions
🎨 Visuals & Effects
Post-processing and lighting completely rebalanced
Clearer visuals and more consistent combat effects
🇺🇦 New Language
Ukrainian is now fully supported, including proper character rendering Слава Україні!
🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements
Runs / Progression
Fixed Continue Run issues (weapons, add-ins, and states now carry over correctly)
Skill point–related exploits fixed
Quest and challenge progression is now more reliable
Shops / Base / Upgrades
Fixed reroll and upgrade-related issues
Base upgrades apply more consistently during runs
Various display and value issues in the upgrade UI fixed
Add-Ins / Abilities / Enemies
Fixed multiple add-in and ability issues (VFX leaks, bullet interactions, scaling)
Resolved enemy and clone issues that could block rooms
Multiplayer
Fixed join-stuck and input issues
Camera and transition bugs fixed
Weapon color and color sync issues resolved
Audio / VFX / Graphics
Fixed volume spikes and infinite audio loops
Resolved fog and build-specific issues
Cleaned up various VFX-related problems
