Full Patch Notes

🆕 New Content

  • Added the new level: The Wendigo Includes:

    • A new track

    • A terrifying new character

    • New voice lines and atmosphere

      ~This one's real spooky~

🎯 Gameplay Improvements

  • Reduced difficulty to address community feedback:

    • Lower error damage

    • Increased beat window

    • Added an invulnerability window to prevent double-hits from a single mistake

  • Smoother and more consistent rhythm feel.

  • Rebalanced Zenith level audio.

  • Reskinned Aqua (for better image generation quality).

🐛 Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the screen would jump too quickly on an early input.

⚙️ UI / Quality of Life

  • Moved the Health and Mana bars to the right side for improved focus on incoming beats.

  • Added an in-level Restart button.

Plans for Next Week & Beyond

✨ Accuracy & Scoring Enhancements

  • An accuracy system will be added next week with new visual and audio feedback (it has actually already been added but has no effect yet).

  • A new perfect timing bonus will reward more skilled players who consistently hit beats with precision.

  • This accuracy system aims to create a reward system to high skill players in the form of a gallery.

🎨 Level Refinement & Audio Remastering

  • New levels are in development.

  • Previous levels with inconsistent art or audio are being polished.

🔮 Abilities & Mana System Rework

  • Abilities are being redesigned to be less frequent but more impactful, rebalanced around the game’s newly lowered base difficulty.

💬 Community & Discord

  • I’m currently preparing a Discord server where players can give direct feedback, report issues, and discuss ideas.

  • I aim to have the Discord server host community character creation events, where players can propose their own characters. If we can build the discord, I want to add some community characters into the game. You will know it's been created when you see it appear on the home screen.

Thank you again for playing and supporting development. Your feedback helps me a lot in shaping the game —more is coming soon!
