We’d like to let you in on a little known secret of Steam reviews. And we’d like to ask you to leave one on the release day, March 11th.
Regardless of the score you give to the game (it should always be honest!), user reviews inform the Steam algorithm that people are interested in this specific title. Thus, Steam recognizes its potential and gives it more exposure.
For indie developers like us, this is extremely important.
Small studios can't compete with AAA marketing, so they have to rely on the Steam algorithm and word of mouth.
