Repeated intro
Hey Everyone,
What changed
- Balance
- Maps
Just letting you know, I've switched the game to Paid.
I know less people will see it that way, but I put a lot of work into this game,
So now I think, unless you got it early, if you want to play my game you should pay me some money.
Genuinely I think this is only fair, I spent thousands of hours and thousands of bucks making this thing
for you. I should get my first dollar back, is what i was thinkin'.
Don't worry people who were clever enough to get the game early will keep it.
My Review Score has been reset back to zero, only paid reviews count towards the review score.
I'm not allowed to make it free after it went paid, so this is a paid game permanently now.
I think I'll keep the price about the same, but maybe I'll give it away for a good discount in sales.
If you're interested I'd encourage you to check it out,
But the path to Heaven is narrow, most people fail.
I've never met anyone who did it.
The game is huge, most people don't really play it enough to see how incomprehensibly massive it is. I use the word Maze and it's apt. 300 huge full scale maps, ranging from everything from villages and towns to massive army bases, huge tropical beaches or deserts that go on for miles in every direction, like that would be one map, for instance, the size of the thing is absurd. Story's pretty good, the characters are interesting, the gameplay is challenging but gets easier the more secrets you learn, I think if you give it a chance you'll be impressed with this game. Got like 70 enemy types 70 npc's with voiced dialogue conversations, branching dialogue, whatever man, you'll get something here that you would never find anywhere else, it really is like nothing else on the market, and I still consider this the apex of one man indie titles. Don't think of it like a game, think of it like a religious story in game form, you play it, you see what it has to offer, you probably barely scratch the surface.
The game is hard at first, and stays hard if you know what you're doing.
The endgame content is challenging, semi-impossible, if you have the right gear you can survive.
Most people will never get to Heaven, that level requires you to find one of the path's to Heaven,
They're all pretty tough, the easy way, still requires you to have "talked to someone" and "explored the game" probably for a while, a long while maybe.
This game doesn't expect you to get to Heaven or win the game, quite the opposite it expects you to fail.
If you get there you worked for it, you earned it.
The game doesn't hold your hand, like at all, you have to wander randomly in the right direction for half an hour in this maze, bump that up by a few hours because the maze is gargantuan. It barely tells you
what you need to do, you can easily miss the conversation, if you're just skipping through.
They'll tell you what you need to do, but to find it you have to wander until you find it,
someone who has played the game a bit is guaranteed to run into it.
Someone who wants to play for 3 minutes and receive validation will be confused and go away.
You have to stay a while, and learn about the game, you have explore the world.
You have to demonstrate some respect for the world before the game starts unlocking secrets.
But winning the game isn't the only point.
Even if you never go near Heaven, there are lots of places you can find something interesting going on,
the slums in Kowloon, The King of Taiwan, The Pirate Port City, there's something interesting almost everywhere. It's not Skyrim, i don't have infinite NPC's, but the ones I did make were put to good use.
Anyway i'll wrap it up as this is dragging.....
Thank you for your attention,
I hope you enjoy the game.
