Let's just leave it at that - it's in a state. We would like to polish the editor with as much collaboration from community as possible. Heyo lightlings!

I'm Sampo Pihlaja, community manager of Rockodile. As you might already know, our next big patch for Lowglow will be an editor patch. The editor is now in a state... Let's just leave it at that - it's in a state. We would like to polish the editor with as much collaboration from community as possible. We are going to add mechanics to the editor that didn't make an appearance in the core game. Mechanics such as:

  • Bigger maps than screen size (screen panning with mouse and/or keyboard)

  • Addittional blocks and/or objects.

  • Possibility to make campaigns or single levels

  • Scoreboard (still figuring what would be the best measurable thing in Lowglow)

Now the question is, what would you like to see in the editor? Throw your wildest ideas in the discussion section. We will work hard to get the editor UI ready and running. At the moment it is clumsy to use without detailed help. We are going to make it streamlined and forgiving.

Here is a pic from a level in the editor.

Here is a pic from the same level in game.

I added some rotations and movement. That's why some blocks are in different places than in editor. Let's make Lowglow brighter and better together! sincerely, Sampo Pihlaja Community Manager
