Originally, the game was going to be titled "Inamorato", an Italian word referring to a man who is a lover, a male sweetheart, or a male romantic partne r. While we very much liked the elegance of the name, the title on its own did not immediately communicate the game's themes. We also felt it was important to include "Gigolo" in the title, as it more directly reflects the game's premise. As a result, we ultimately chose the longer but more descriptive title "Love vs Lust: The story of a Gigolo".

Below is the initial version of the main menu screen based on that name.
