Dear friends! As 2024 draws to a close, it’s hard not to marvel at how quickly a quarter of the 21st century has passed. For those not born in this century, it might feel surreal, and for sci-fi writers of the past, it would seem even stranger that we still haven’t journeyed to other stars. After all, Homo Sapiens—this is my firm belief—is a species capable of rising above the natural instincts instilled in us by evolution, and with our hands (and minds), we can build a brighter future!
