I am thrilled to announce that the massive 2.7.0 update for Lost Viking is finally here. I've been working hard on this one, and it brings a huge shift to how combat feels in our alternate viking history.
Here is what’s new in v2.7.0:
Dynamic Dismemberment System: Combat just got a lot more brutal and tactical! If you land a precise, heavy strike during a fight, you can now sever enemy limbs. Chop off a goblin's weapon arm or shield hand, and watch how it changes the flow of the battle.
New Content & Areas: Expanded the world for you to explore, fight or run and survive in.
- RPG ImprovementsTweaked the core mechanics to make your journey smoother and more immersive.

The Road to Steam Next Fest (Working on 2.7.1)
I never sleep for long! While you are out there testing the new combat in the 2.7.0 build (which is available right now on my Itch.io and for my Patreon supporters), my focus has already shifted.
Development on update 2.7.1 has officially started. My ultimate goal is to polish all these features into a massive 2.7.2 version, just in time for the Steam Next Fest in October.
