changedUpdate for Act 3I have really exciting news regarding Act 3, as I last wrote about on the previous update, that Act 2 was officially content complete with all of the art, music, sound & writing all implemented and ready for play testing and also that I was just about to get started working on Act 3…
changedUpdate for Act 3Well, I have very exciting news to tell you all that since I’m writing this on 10/10/25, Act 3 is now fully complete content-wise, with all of the visuals & gameplay elements now playable from start to finish. The only thing left for me to work on is the credit sequences, and that’s really about it when it comes down to all of the game's content.
changedUpdate for Act 3This means the only thing left for me to do is to start working on the music and sound effects for that act, which will take a really long time since I’m composing all of the music for the game myself. Once all of the music and sound effects have been fully implemented, then the final polishing stages will commence.
changedWhat about Act 2?Since there’s not much to do with Act 2, I’ve been spending all of my time on Act 3’s development. This means I’ve been putting all of the playtesting for Act 2 on hold until Act 3 is all ready to go. Once all of the music and sound effects have been implemented into Act 3, then I will start playtesting all of the acts together to make sure that the entire game is all experienced from start to finish.
changedAct 3:All in-game content is now fully complete. It is now entering the polishing stages, with me starting to compose the music and sound effects for the entire act. Once they have been fully composed and implemented, the final polish and play testing stage will commence for Act 3, followed by all of the other acts as well.

Welcome!

Heyo! No time, no see. It’s been an interesting year so far. I have had many little wins personally and game development-wise, and I’m very looking forward to settling down at Christmas! Anywho, enough about me, let’s talk about LOST INSIDE. I have very exciting news to tell you!...

Update for Act 3

I have really exciting news regarding Act 3, as I last wrote about on the previous update, that Act 2 was officially content complete with all of the art, music, sound & writing all implemented and ready for play testing and also that I was just about to get started working on Act 3…

Well, I have very exciting news to tell you all that since I’m writing this on 10/10/25, Act 3 is now fully complete content-wise, with all of the visuals & gameplay elements now playable from start to finish. The only thing left for me to work on is the credit sequences, and that’s really about it when it comes down to all of the game's content.

This means the only thing left for me to do is to start working on the music and sound effects for that act, which will take a really long time since I’m composing all of the music for the game myself. Once all of the music and sound effects have been fully implemented, then the final polishing stages will commence.

What about Act 2?

Since there’s not much to do with Act 2, I’ve been spending all of my time on Act 3’s development. This means I’ve been putting all of the playtesting for Act 2 on hold until Act 3 is all ready to go. Once all of the music and sound effects have been implemented into Act 3, then I will start playtesting all of the acts together to make sure that the entire game is all experienced from start to finish.

Let me break it down for what's left for me to do, shall we?

Act breakdown!

Act 1:

The act is fully completed. It only needs a final playtest, just in case any bugs appear. All playtesting is currently on hold until Act 3 is fully complete.

Act 2:

The act is fully completed. It will need to be playtested and will also need some tweaks if needed as well. All playtesting is currently on hold until Act 3 is fully complete.

Act 3:

All in-game content is now fully complete. It is now entering the polishing stages, with me starting to compose the music and sound effects for the entire act. Once they have been fully composed and implemented, the final polish and play testing stage will commence for Act 3, followed by all of the other acts as well.

*Phew*

That was a mouthful!

Let’s take a short break and enjoy this beautiful sprite of Chocsow!

Wrapup!

Overall, I’m very happy with the progress so far. I’m finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and will need to keep locking in until I see the game all the way through. Even though making this game has had some challenges, I’ve had so much fun creating this game all by myself, and I cannot wait to release the entire game for everyone to experience.

I hope everyone has had a great 2025 so far, and I look forward to the next update.

Aaron out!

((*Ayetoons bounces away and goes back to his cave…))

((*He won’t be out until the game is done.))

((*I think he really needs a rest…))
