Upcoming 1.2 Patch Preview

Tacticians, In our last dev log, we noted that we are working on a stronger roguelite experience and shorter expeditions. We have come up with many ideas, and are deploying some of them in our upcoming patch.

In our last dev log, we noted that we are working on a stronger roguelite experience and shorter expeditions. We have come up with many ideas, and are deploying some of them in our upcoming patch.

Based on feedback from players, the following are some of the boosts in the patch that will let you steamroll your enemies more easily!

1. Blessed Relics

Having the right relic at the right time can make a huge impact. So we added Blessed Relics that provide more powerful effects than their regular versions–and just in case it is not obvious… Some relics lose their penalty in their blessed version!

2. Talent Skills

We created 2 Talent skills for each character:

  • Skill 1: Boosts each character's key attributes

  • Skill 2: Increases the proc chances for the character's Partnership effect

These new Talent skills are included as part of the skill card pool as Unique (purple) cards. Now you have even more skills to choose from!

4. Shortened Events

For a more streamlined experience, we adjusted the number of enemies and dialogue lines in some combat scenarios. This should let you jump in to action quicker!

On top of that, we reviewed 17 different Forked Road encounters to see how we can simplify things–many of them now have fewer dialogue lines and/or have choices consolidated. This would allow for both shorter events and more meaningful rewards with each choice.

The upcoming patch also contains other improvements and changes, so please stay tuned for the full patch notes coming soon! As noted at the top, there are also more ideas and content we are working on. You’ll have more to look forward to beyond this patch, and we cannot wait to bring more exciting news to you.
