Workshop and Map making tools Live!

The Workshop is now live >> HERE <<!!!

It's launching along with the map making tools! The closed beta saw very few issues, so I'm confident I can maintain it when open to all.

Instructions on how to build maps can be found on the workshop page itself by clicking the "Learn More" button, but can also be found >> HERE<<

Prerequisites:

• Unity 2019.4.40f1 → This is where the level is actually built. You can find it >> here <<

• Experience or willingness to learn Unity basics

What's available now?

I made a custom map called CastleRun that you can download right away for free! There is also Abstract Space.

The rest are still cookin' :)

Contest!

I'm also announcing that I'm hosting a map making contest! Starting on launch, you'll have until Feb 28 to submit a map.

The winner will be shipped a full-color 3D print of the android!

It will be judged on 3 criteria:

• Creativity

• Level of FUN

• Aesthetic

I expect there will be feedback after the tools are live. I can likely make setup smoother, but beyond that, I'll commit based on how popular the tools become.

If it pops off, I can even invest time in a custom map making tool.
