Hello!
Great news!
It looks like the demo is ready next month!!!! There will be a playtesting round before that just in order to make some improvements, but after that I think we are actually good to go.
Swimming- I finally added swimming to the game. Now you will be able to explore Lorne both above and below the water surface!
New Enemy- A new enemy supporting the heavy zombie infantry, here are some characteristics of our new enemy serving the undead side, The Imp:
Low health
Low experience yield
Low damage
High rate of fire
Spawns in large numbers
Ambient NPC- I spent some time after last month to add some life to the village of Nortshire. Some of the things I have added since last time:
Carpenter working on different parts of the village
Low density pedestrians
Woodchopper
Man tending fire
Fisherman
Corruption Barriers- Corruption barriers can be found across Lorne. Be careful! These are conjured by the powerful Lich Yk'Voz in an effort to drain the life from the land. They regularly spawn unholy creatures, take these down before they get out of hand, or soon an entire army wont be enough to stop them.
Imps will spawn in groups around the player when you come close to a corruption barrier
Waves will spawn repeatedly untill you have destroyed all the power cores for the barrier
One last guardian will spawn once you destroy the barrier
Signposts and Healthbars- Other additions to Lorne:
Cleaned up healthbars
Added signposts that gives you directions
Added rules that show up when you're next to a time challenge
