Steam post imageIt's a cold region perched atop colossal ancient ice fields. Its people now face the harsh reality of global warming and the danger of vast, unstable glaciers. The ice is melting at an alarming pace; massive slabs break off and drift as treacherous icebergs, threatening navigation and everyday life.
In response, the governor invites you to host a festival here — a bold attempt to draw the world’s attention to this unfolding environmental crisis. Steam post imageRecently, a new mineral — Cold-Crystal — was discovered in the area, sparking a fierce dispute between three forces: the local municipality, a corporation that has leased the land for 50 years, and a research institute that had been studying the site long before any commercial interests arrived.
Surprised? We’re not, really…
Fun fact: Lu and Nikky once came here to meditate in a secluded ice cave, and even lived in the region for a while after running away from their parents. They kept going deeper into the cave, searching for their power animal. Sliiiiiide.
