Shape the Rails! Playtest Rail Defence: Eldritch Siege Out Now!

Our independently developed new strategy tower defense game— Rail Defense: Eldritch Siege —has officially begun its limited-time Public Playtest, starting today, January 30th!

This test will initially open Character Mode. Players will take on the role of the first available character. Once a master mechanical modifier, she joined the Rail God Research Association and now commands her signature dual-tech turrets—harnessing both lightning and steam—to repel the encroaching void.

Core Experience Highlights:

• Dual-Tech Turrets, Strategic Assembly:

  Control Auvia, freely combining 4 types of Steam-Powered Turrets (Forge Press, Mortar, Volley Gun, Double Blast) with 4 types of Arc-Tech Turrets (Arc Flash, Fork Bolt, Ion Orb, Superconduct). Experience distinctly different combat styles, from single-target burst to area chaining.

  

• Deep Progression, Arm Your Train: Through trials in Normal and Elite waves, as well as Boss battles, gradually unlock and upgrade the 8 turret types, arming them onto your mobile fortress—the War Train.

  

• Relic Collection, Build Your Playstyle: Collect over 40 unique Rail Relics left behind by the Rail Gods. Cleverly combining them will significantly enhance your combat capabilities, helping you forge a unique clearing strategy.

  

• Dynamic Battlefield, Random Events: Beyond the intense main combat, levels will also randomly feature diverse node events such as supply drops, mysterious merchants, and sudden encounters. Opportunity and risk coexist; every choice can change the course of battle.

• Trial Loop, Grow Stronger: Upon completing each trial, you will earn rewards including Turrets, Relics, Rail Devices, and Synergy Nodes. Evolve your tactical system by synthesizing higher-tier turrets, stacking Infusion layers, and cleverly laying rails to alter the battlefield terrain, preparing for the ever-swelling "Outer God Swarm" and ominous curses.

1. Visit the Rail Defense: Eldritch Siege Steam Store Page.

2. Find and click the "Request Access" button.

3. Once access is granted, you will see the game in your Steam Library and can download and play immediately.
