Repeated intro

Hello and happy June fellow loopers! We hope everyone is enjoying themselves as much as we are this month. June has been on the lighter side of development for us at Purple Void; mainly polishing up a few things before diving back into the thick of it next month. Regardless, we’re still here to deliver you the June State of the Game, let’s dive right in!

What changed

0 fixes4 additions1 change0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Maps
  • UI and audio
addedPretty sweet right? For a more detailed explanation we decided to change the logo to this for mainly one reason: the readability. The red text and darker colors have always been a staple to us for the logos–but they’re very hard to read, especially scaled down or in artwork. The new logo prevents that! Being easily readable with the white text and stroke around the headset.
addedFocusing our attention to gameplay itself, we’ve gotten numerous feedback on the game having a “Dreamcore” esque feel to it. So… why not embrace it? We conducted a poll on our community discord to see if people wanted to see more dreamy elements in the main map! From the results we’ve added a few new galactic neighbors in the Purple Void.
changedAnd finally to conclude June, we’re excited to show off more UI changes coming your way! (soon…ish)
addedWe’ve updated the inventory to fit with the new UI style–as well as structured it better than its last iteration!
addedAnd what’s a new logo without updating the main menu too? Like the inventory, it has been updated to fit with the UI style.

Beginning, we’ve made actually quite a big change to the game! We’ve valued our logo for the past 4 years, slowly updating it and revamping as development moves along. The logo that you’re used to seeing was our 2025 version. After much consideration and research we decided to take the logo down a different route. “But what does it look like?” Well here you go!

As a little bonus here’s a logo evolution, just for you.

And…. that’s pretty much it for this month! We’re trying our hardest to get the full build out as soon as we can, and we appreciate the patience from all of you.

Until then we hope everyone has an amazing month of July! We’ll be in the office cooking you up some more stuff to share, so keep an eye out. Until next time Loopers.
