We’re pleased to announce that LOOP//ERROR, a psychological horror novel and companion to the PC game Loop//Error, is now available globally on Amazon.
This new release extends the world of the game beyond the screen—reconstructing a fragmented narrative where memory, identity, and reality begin to collapse.
A Story Recovered, Not Written
Set in the early internet era, LOOP//ERROR pieces together the remnants of a lost online community.
In 2004, a small independent mental health forum vanished without explanation. Its servers were shut down. Its users disappeared. Its archives were erased.
For years, nothing remained.
Until fragments began to resurface.
Recovered from partial caches and broken archives, investigators uncovered a series of disturbing posts authored by a user known only as GasGuy87. The entries are inconsistent, overwritten, and often exist in conflicting versions—yet all point to the same sequence of events:
A late-night call from a gas station
A missing coworker
A deserted highway
A voice on the radio repeating: “We will wait where time dies.”
A Fragmented Descent
LOOP//ERROR presents these fragments as a continuous narrative—one that loops, shifts, and destabilises.
Events repeat with subtle variations. Identities blur. Timelines fracture.
As a companion to the game, the novel expands on the underlying mythology and narrative threads introduced in Loop//Error on Steam.
Where the game places you inside the experience, the book reconstructs what was hidden beneath it.
Together, they form a single psychological horror experience—across two mediums—each reinforcing and unsettling the other.
Between Fiction and Archive
LOOP//ERROR is designed to resist certainty.
Some will read it as fiction. Others may question whether these fragments were ever meant to resurface.
The text itself offers no clear answer.
Once the loop begins, it rarely lets go.
