addedWipe DelayedAs we have realized that the update is not ready for the next scheduled wipe, we have decided to postpone the wipe so we can deliver the new map and wipe in the same update. This is necessary since there will be new restricted areas in the map that cannot be built on, and we want to ensure everyone starts on equal footing with the new content. We know this might be disappointing for some of you who were looking forward to a fresh start, but we believe the wait will be worth it when you experience everything Wild Growth has to offer.
addedWipe DelayedThe good news is that all the level design work on the new map areas is now complete, which was the most intensive and time-consuming part of the development process. What remains is implementing all the new items, mechanics, and integrating them into the levels. We're making solid progress on this final phase and everything is coming together nicely.
addedWipe DelayedThe new date for the wipe and Wild Growth update is April 16th ! We're really excited to see all of you try out your luck in the dangerous Swamplands and discover all the new mechanics we've been working on.
fixedPerformance Improvements and Issues ResolvedAfter our last devlog, we've been laser-focused on stability and performance. We have managed to resolve all the server lag issues that were plaguing high-population servers, and we've also fixed the critical issue with KR PVE 2 that prevented it from starting up properly. The server infrastructure is now running much smoother across the board.
changedPerformance Improvements and Issues ResolvedWe will continue to prioritize and fix these major technical issues as they appear, but we're also pleased to announce that smaller quality of life improvements and player-requested features are coming in the next update. Your feedback has been invaluable as always, and we're constantly reading your suggestions to make Longvinter the best experience possible!
