🎮 LongTrip VR — Dev Log

Hey folks 👋

This week?

Non-stop chaos — in the best way.

Here’s what I’ve been deep in lately 👇

🖥 SteamVR Demo — Almost There

The SteamVR demo build is getting very close.

Still polishing, still testing — but things are finally lining up.

Even with the holidays coming up, I’m planning to keep pushing forward and hopefully get something playable into your hands during the break.

No promises yet — but yeah, I really want you to try this.

🐛 Giant Boss AI Update

Steam post image

The sandworm boss got a serious AI pass.

Smarter reactions. More presence. Way more “oh no” moments.

I’m confident this is shaping up to be a proper giant-scale fight, not just a big enemy with a health bar.

More tuning ahead — but it’s already wild.

💣 Handheld Cannon — Now Live

The handheld cannon is officially in.

Heavy. Loud. Extremely irresponsible.

Exactly how it should feel.

🐺 Mount System — More Polished

More work went into the mount system:

  • Smoother control

  • Better responsiveness

  • Less fighting the player, more supporting them

Riding + combat is finally starting to click the way I imagined early on.

🧹 Bug Cleanup (The Annoying Ones)

Took out a bunch of long-standing, extremely annoying bugs.

You know the kind — not game-breaking, just constantly breaking your mood.

Yeah. Those are gone.

(Probably.)

That’s it for now.

Back to tuning, testing, and trying not to break everything again. Thanks for sticking around — more soon.
