lone.AI Beta 0.1.0 Update
Once again, thank you to everyone testing lone.AI. We're entering the beta phase, with most main features complete. While some new features will still be added, the focus will now shift to bug fixes, polishing, and optimization as I prepare for release. Below is a list of additions and changes in lone.AI Beta Build 0.1.0.
Locations
The planet Iter is now fully functional.
Iter:
Has the usual inquire and missions. Added Bullet Trade.
The planet Zeranda is now fully functional.
Zeranda:
Has the usual inquire and missions. Added Modules Shop.
The planet Necula is now fully functional.
Necula:
Has the usual inquire and missions. Added Damage Enhancer.
This brings the total number of functional locations to 13.
NEW Bullet Trade:
Trade crystals and swap the damage of your basic shots or plasma shots.
NEW Modules Shop:
Purchase a module chest and explore various other modules to acquire.
NEW Damage Enhancer:
Purchase various damage upgrades for this run and permanently.
3 Unlockable stickers added to the AI Station.
NEW AI Dialog Box
AI Dialog: The AI will now provide helpful information throughout a run.
AI Box:
Modules and upgrades are available to enhance the AI's dialog box capabilities.
Modules
NEW AI Shot Module:
The AI's dialog box will fire at enemies.
NEW AI Nova Module:
The AI's dialog box will generate a nova from incoming messages.
NEW FroggPrincess Module:
Send space frogs after your enemies.
NEW Fire Back Module:
Your crosshair will fire back, can be acquired multiple times.
NEW Crosshair Target Module:
Clicking can cause damage at the crosshairs location.
NEW Stats Module:
Gives two additional stat points, can be acquired multiple times.
NEW Skills Module:
Gives one additional skill point, can be acquired multiple times.
Including all modules this brings the total number to 38.
Asteroids
NEW A rare anomaly may now enhance all asteroids during a run.
Green:
Asteroids give technology instead of metal ore.
Silver:
Asteroids give metal scrap instead of metal ore.
Gold:
Asteroids give more credits instead of metal ore with a chance to spawn a module chest.
Optimization
Adjusted button effects and animations.
Certain objects will now be deleted instead of hidden.
Disabled smoothing on some objects.
Made other minor adjustments to enhance performance.
Other
Fixed an issue where music would not resume playing after leaving certain locations.
Other minor bug fixes and changes.
