Repeated intro

Hello, cozy gamers! I am so excited to finally be introducing to the world my project for the past six months. Little Christmas Workshop began with a simple premise: "What if Factorio, but at the North Pole?" But I wasn't satisfied to just make a Factorio clone. I wanted it to feel more whimsical than a typical game in this genre, and I decided the best way to accomplish this was to put the game in side view, with gravity as a mechanic. I knew I was onto something special the first time I bounced an item up a floor, and let it fall back down a floor, to make an infinite loop. It felt like I was building a Rube Goldberg machine. The presence of gravity is a truly mind-bending mechanic in a factory game, and I have all sorts of gravity-based ideas I hope to implement. Another way I tried to make the game "feel" as whimsical as possible was through the art. Most other factory builders on Steam tend to have functional, but sterile art. I wanted my game to be as cute as possible! I'll be doing even more in the months to come to make the game feel cozy, and help the toymaker elves come to life. Thanks for reading, and I'll announce a Steam playtest soon! Follow me on twitter: https://x.com/Tom_Horwath
