This is our first dev update, thanks for following along!

Linsips is a puzzle game about placing two lines to split the screen into four quadrants and distribute bouncing balls equally. Simple concept, but the levels are designed to make you think before you click.

Where we are right now:

  • 7 levels are done and playable, each introducing a new twist on the core mechanic.

  • The main menu, level select, and all core systems are in place.

What's coming next:

  • Music: I'm composing the soundtrack using Furnace, a tracker targeting the OPL3 FM synthesis chip. OPL3 isn't as commonly heard as its older sibling OPL2, the one behind the iconic sound of MS-DOS games, but it's a more capable chip, and I think it'll be a great fit for the game's vibe.

  • More levels: I'm aiming for 20 in total.

Stay tuned! More updates soon!
