LiM Beyond One-on-One Basketball
When the interns started to work on the game, the only design brief was what you see below.
Made in Less than 6 Months
The game, as mentioned in previous posts, was developed by game dev students during their internship. From scratch to finish, with only the image above and a verbal pitch to use for guidance. Naturally, along the way, there's been feedback, but the project was all hinging on the students being able to pull it off. Creating a game from scratch to release. They did, and they are all now published game developers.
Simple Fun
LiM Beyond One-on-One Basketball is the simplest basketball game you will find, and that also makes it one of the games that anyone can play no matter how much or little gaming experience they have.
Fun with Anyone
Play against your partner, your parents, and your friends either locally or via Steam Remote Play Together. You'll have fun playing the nowadays celebrity AI, but you'll have the most fun playing against the earlier-mentioned group of people.
Ambidextrous Play
If you are ambidextrous, then you can even play against yourself in versus on the keyboard or on pads. You'll always walk away a winner - the other hands' defeat you can always sweep under the rug.
Mayhem Mode
We decided we also wanted to have an even more arcade type of gameplay, and we came up with more balls on the court - at the same time! Once a basket is made, the ball disappears and the player with the most baskets wins.
