It's a paid expansion for Lil Gator Game, which doubles the content with a brand new story line, new friends (and enemies) to meet, and a ton of new abilities to traverse the underground!

How much is it?

Lil Gator Game: In the Dark launches at £9.99 / $12.99, but for those of you who like a saving, we're happy to announce that the DLC will launch with a 30% discount! Make sure to grab it while you can!

What if I haven't played Lil Gator Game yet?

No worries, we've got the solution; we're excited to announce that Lil Gator Game: Gator of the Year Edition bundle, will launch on the same day as the DLC (February 12, 2026), which incudes the main game and DLC combined! It's perfect for those of you who want to experience both adventures from beginning to end!

If you can't wait that long, we still have base Lil Gator Game for you to play too (you have a week to finish it, which should be plenty of time before the DLC arrives).

Do I need to complete the base game before I play the DLC?

Yes, to start the DLC, you will need to complete the main story of Lil Gator Game first. Once you have, make sure to return to your current save file, and have a word with Tom at Playground Town. You'll then find a certain Darklord will arrive who wants to cause trouble for you...
