addedThrowback to our journeyWe took our time to rethink some core elements of the game and added a unique mechanic that for most of you might feel like it has always been there. The soul or Loa as we call it that can transfer between different robots was developed during our prototype funding period.

So instead of gaining new abilities as upgrades for progression, we thought a puzzle focussed game might benefit more from a knowledge based upgrade system. This means that certain obstacles that seam insurmountable at first can be overcome as soon as you learn how to properly use a certain mechanic for example.

Throwback to our journey

November 2026 will be our month and we're really excited to finish the last puzzles of our game! It has been a wild ride working on this game that sprouted from a students' project first. We started off with an already super polished prototype that earned us the German Computergames Award and made everyone wonder why it's not out yet.

We took our time to rethink some core elements of the game and added a unique mechanic that for most of you might feel like it has always been there. The soul or Loa as we call it that can transfer between different robots was developed during our prototype funding period.

We later reiterated on our goal to create a traditional Metroidvania and instead tried to move more towards a Metroidbrainia feel. So instead of gaining new abilities as upgrades for progression, we thought a puzzle focussed game might benefit more from a knowledge based upgrade system. This means that certain obstacles that seam insurmountable at first can be overcome as soon as you learn how to properly use a certain mechanic for example.

All of this journey wouldn't have been possible without your support, whether you shared our social media content, wishlisted on steam or even playtested the game with us. We want to take a moment to thank you all so much!

We can't wait to let you play this game and are looking forward to November!
