In this massive update, I completely redesigned how the game's economy works to make it fairer and more realistic, and I added new features to help new players get off to a great start.
fixed📉 New Progressive Taxes (More savings!)No more paying a huge fixed percentage on all your earnings. I've implemented a new progressive bracket system: you now pay less on your initial income and the highest rate only applies to the surplus. Earn more and keep more!

📉 New Progressive Taxes (More savings!)

No more paying a huge fixed percentage on all your earnings. I've implemented a new progressive bracket system: you now pay less on your initial income and the highest rate only applies to the surplus. Earn more and keep more!

To show you the huge difference, here are a couple of examples:

Example 1 (€110,000 Income):

  • Old system: 35% of everything → €38,500 in taxes.

  • New progressive system:

    First €20,000 at 10% → €2,000

    Next €30,000 (20k–50k) at 15% → €4,500

    Next €50,000 (50k–100k) at 25% → €12,500

    Last €10,000 (100k–110k) at 35% → €3,500

  • Total: €22,500 (Effective rate of 20.45% instead of 35%).

Example 2 (€250,000 Income):

  • Old system: 45% of everything → €112,500 in taxes.

  • New progressive system:

    First €20,000 at 10% → €2,000

    Next €30,000 (20k–50k) at 15% → €4,500

    Next €50,000 (50k–100k) at 25% → €12,500

    Next €100,000 (100k–200k) at 35% → €35,000

    Last €50,000 (200k–250k) at 45% → €22,500

  • Total: €76,500 (Effective rate of 30.6% instead of 45%).
